completed project

Project Description: The goal of this project was to expand the foot print of the original small kitchen which was closed off to the rest of the house. The owners wanted to combine the dining and kitchen into one open space, and create views to other parts of the house with a more open floor plan. A small addition was created, a few walls were also removed for the new kitchen space. The new addition features skylights, upper cabinets along the exterior wall were sacrificed in favor of more windows to let in the maximum amount of natural light. Additional storage was created under the island on both sides. The centerpiece of the kitchen is a 48” Ilve stove made in Italy.
